Capital One Software Engineer interview experience

The day itself felt like a high-intensity panel, and the pacing made it clear it was meant to be a serious evaluation.

After the interview wrapped, they told me they would consider me for another software engineer position. Even with that positive message, I later didn’t hear anything back.

The difficulty was difficult and the final result was no offer, but what weighed on me wasn’t the challenge—it was the lack of follow-through after they sounded like they were moving me to another track.
