I went through a challenging four-part assessment focused heavily on Power BI: dashboard building concepts with DAX, then written testing, and finally PM/VP scenario conversations.

Power BI + DAX round — Questions involving DAX (simple to medium level) related to a Power BI dashboard.
Written test — A longer set of Power BI questions at medium-to-hard difficulty.
Onsite/face-to-face with PM — Scenario-based questions tied to how I’d work.
Virtual with VP — A final conversational discussion. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was that Power BI/DAX mastery was the real filter.
