I started with an HR-style conversation where the focus was mostly on me rather than anything too technical.

They asked about my background, the languages I know, and what I genuinely enjoy doing day to day. We talked through my interests and which sector I wanted to work in, and the conversation kept circling back to what I like and what kind of work I’m aiming for. They also asked about the courses I had liked the most.

Overall it felt approachable and not intimidating. The questions were framed like a fit check, and I left feeling like they were really trying to understand my motivations and direction.
