The process felt like it had too many stages that didn’t map closely to the day-to-day work.

It started with a recruiter screen, then I went through two separate coding tests, followed by a system design round and then a behavioral round.

What stood out to me was just how time consuming it all felt end to end. The difficulty wasn’t described as the biggest problem, but the overall friction was the number of steps and how long the process took. By the end, it just felt like the structure could be streamlined to be more efficient, because it dragged out without adding much signal about how I’d actually operate in the role.
