Pittsburgh, PAPosted Mar 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I first met someone from the company at a career fair and followed up on LinkedIn, which led to a phone interview.

Not long after, I was invited to an on-site in Pittsburgh, and that in-person stage felt like a legitimate step forward.

After the onsite, I received an oral offer about a month later, which was a huge signal after all the effort. But then the hiring manager contacted me saying there had been a mistake and they wouldn’t move forward with my application. Overall I felt confusion from the company more than anything else, and that uncertainty ended up determining the result—I didn’t get to the finish line.
