Cadence Design Systems Software Engineer interview experience

There was a phone interview with the hiring manager and a principal team member, and then I went on-site for interviews with four other senior team members.

After the on-site, the team held a round-table discussion to decide on the hiring recommendation. The next day I received a verbal offer, which made the whole journey feel unusually smooth and decisive.

What I remember most was how organized it felt—multiple interviewers, a clear wrap-up step, and then a fast decision. I ended up with an offer, and it really contrasted with slower, more ambiguous processes I’d experienced elsewhere.
