Springfield, VAPosted Feb 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Software Engineer in an hour-long format mixing behavioral and light technical reasoning, without a true coding exercise.

Mixed behavioral + technical interview (1 hour) — interviewers were relaxed; I answered behavioral questions and some technical questions, with no coding required. The only code-adjacent ask was a verbal walkthrough of how to check whether a word is a palindrome. Outcome: I didn’t report an offer, but the takeaway was that it felt conversational and you could do well by explaining your logic clearly.
