I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with an on-site, group-panel feel that was respectful and not overly technical.

On-site panel with multiple team interviewers — I spoke with a small group from different teams about my experience, skills, and the type of work I’d do.
Managers/leads/developers walkthrough — we covered what each team does, discussed my background, and then did a light spot-check of technical knowledge. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, but both experiences felt reasonable and not like a grilling.
