Sterling, VAPosted Nov 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role and hit an organized coding step, but the process stalled after scheduling the final round.

Recruiter screen / phone screen — an initial call about my background and the role.
Hiring-manager phone interview — a deeper conversation with the team manager.
Coding assessment — I completed a coding assessment and felt like I did well.
Scheduling follow-up — once it came time to line up the final interview, communication stopped. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the team’s interest was real, but lack of follow-through made it confusing and frustrating.
