Chantilly, VAPosted Dec 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Software Engineer with some OOP-focused technical discussions, but one round ended up feeling disrespectful and derailed.

Recruiter-coordinated process + two project-manager interviews — initial interviews centered on team and principles, followed by a technical interview.
Technical interview with engineers — I was focused on OOP principles.
Hiring-manager phone interview that switched midstream — during another process, a second interviewer joined suddenly and cut me off.
Rude, interruptive technical questioning — I felt treated poorly, and the interview went badly. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; takeaway was that interview tone and respect strongly affected the experience.
