I ran into an inflexible and difficult setup where hints were minimal and scheduling/cancellation behavior meant the process ended abruptly.

Coding round (limited hints) — a problem attempt where I received little guidance, and the interviewer style made it harder to recover mid-solution.
Systems design cancellation — a system design interview was canceled because I couldn’t solve the first coding problem within the early time window.
Other difficult gating (when present) — in some versions of the journey, I saw dynamic programming placed as the make-or-break round and advancement depended on getting a working solution quickly. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was to be ready for both hard
