Redwood City, CAPosted Aug 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a software engineer role with a straightforward mix of live coding and design, and the process ended without an offer.

Phone screen — A quick introduction to my background.
Live coding (2 rounds) — They gave coding problems live and evaluated how I approached, communicated, and solved them.
Design interview — A system/design interview round.
Culture fit / additional interviews — Two more culture-fit interviews. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway is that the interview structure was conventional, even if the outcome didn’t align.
