C3.ai Solutions Engineer interview experience

Redwood City, CAPosted Dec 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I experienced a somewhat disorganized technical setup on top of normal coding evaluations, with medium-difficulty problems and no clear buffer when tooling failed.

HR / recruiter-related screen — an initial HR-type round.
Technical assessment (HackerRank) — a HackerRank-based evaluation before live technical interviews.
Coding rounds — LeetCode-style rounds were part of the process; in one case the session was derailed by technical issues (like inability to run/test) without extra time. Outcome: No offer; the combination of medium difficulty plus platform/tool problems left a confusing, uneven impression.
