I experienced a tougher, longer sequence where the early coding bar was very high and could end the process quickly, especially around dynamic programming.

Hiring manager behavioral — an initial conversation centered on my background and interests.
Coding round (high bar) — a LeetCode-style dynamic programming problem where not solving within the allotted time meant I wouldn’t proceed.
Follow-on coding / system design — where the process continued, it included additional algorithm rounds and a system design component (e.g., monitoring system), but advancement depended on early success. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the key takeaway was that I needed faster, more reliable DP execution to survive the gating problems.
