San Jose, CAPosted Mar 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a generally positive interview experience with good conversations, but the process ended without an offer due to hiring pauses or abrupt recruiter silence.

Multiple coding/engineering rounds — I went through a relatively large number of interviews (around half a dozen) over about three months.
Overall interactions — interviewers were engaging and the rounds felt collaborative rather than adversarial.
Recruiter follow-up — in one similar experience, the recruiter stopped responding after positive feedback even though interviews went well. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and my takeaway was that even strong performance can stall when internal hiring timing or communication breaks.
