San Jose, CAPosted Mar 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through a full technical plus behavioral sequence only to be rejected for a mismatch that felt inconsistent with how far I progressed.

Recruiter intro — I spoke with a recruiter about the position and then was scheduled for on-site technical rounds.
Technical on-site — I passed a three-round technical interview sequence.
Behavioral with management — I then completed a behavioral round with two management people.
Outcome: I received a late rejection email citing role-date mismatch; the takeaway is that the decision reasoning can feel backwards after earlier progress.
