C3.ai Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Positive

Redwood City, CAPosted Jan 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at C3 AI and ran into an abrupt cut-off in the final stage, even after portions of the technical interview went well.

Multi-interviewer technical day — I expected a long final technical session with multiple interviewers.
First technical problem solved — I completed an initial coding problem and felt it went well.
System design review — I also did a system design round that received positive feedback at the time.
Unexpected early termination — After waiting for the next interviewer, I was told they couldn’t move forward and my candidacy was stopped. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that I never got the chance to finish the intended final evaluation window.
