I went through a couple rounds of interviewing without a real technical segment.

What they were curious about was how much I knew about programming in general, especially data structures and algorithms, plus how I thought about APIs.

They also spent time discussing my coursework, which stood out because it pulled my academic background into the conversation more than I expected for a software engineer role. The overall difficulty felt on the harder side, mostly because I couldn’t anchor the process around practical coding problems the way some interviews do.
