Burns & McDonnell Software Engineer interview experience

When I ran into issues with the UI and submitted my interview anyway, I waited for any kind of follow-up.

After submitting, I never heard back. I later applied to similar roles in different locations and still didn’t receive responses, which made me feel like parts of the process might have been automated rather than actively reviewed.

Because of that lack of communication, the whole journey felt incomplete and impersonal. I didn’t get an offer, and the most honest part of my reflection was that the silence mattered almost as much as the interview itself.
