Burns & McDonnell Software Engineer interview experience

My process started with a long set of non-interactive video prompts.

The link was easy enough to follow, but the experience lacked any real back-and-forth—there was zero feedback and no chance to ask questions. I recorded my responses and moved through the steps without any human interaction.

What stood out was how much time it took relative to the benefit. With no contact during the process, it felt like the main advantage was on the employer side while the applicant had to spend more time completing the screens. Honestly, it left me feeling uneasy about the whole flow.
