My first round was a recorded interview with simple questions.

The prompts were mostly about what I was looking for out of the position, and it also covered general information like where I’d be living after graduation, relevant work experience, the schools I attended, and whether I’d taken the FE exam.

The questions weren’t technical, and the overall feel was manageable. It was less about demonstrating problem-solving and more about making sure the basics and my background were clear.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the process felt straightforward enough that I knew exactly what they were trying to learn from me.
