Brown Brothers Harriman Financial Analyst interview experience

They asked me to describe a situation where I had delivered a huge project by analyzing how Excel was used, including which formulas I relied on and what other programs supported the work.

That prompt pushed me to be specific about the tools, not just the outcome, and it made the interview feel more difficult than the typical broad fit questions. I didn’t receive an offer, and I left feeling like the process was trying to measure whether my practical spreadsheet experience was deep enough to handle complex analysis under real constraints.
