I went through a recruitment agency call first, and the early questions were pretty basic finance concepts.

We covered things like option types, what strike price means, and the types of derivatives.

After that, I had a call with a VP from fund accounting, which was a step up in formality and seemed centered on my understanding of the area. The final stage was an in-person interview with the VP from fund accounting, and it felt like the role was being evaluated through both my background and how comfortable I was discussing the work.
