My process started with the usual recruiter-style conversation: I talked through my education and past experience, and we kept coming back to what I knew in terms of programming languages and software development.

I remember feeling like I had a strong profile for what they were looking for, but the communication afterward was rough. After that initial confidence about my fit, I didn’t hear back when I followed up by email.

The interview itself stayed at a relatively approachable level. It wasn’t so much about tricky algorithms or deep system details as it was about getting a clear picture of my knowledge and experience in the field I was applying for. The whole thing left me with a “good first impression, then silence” feeling that lingered.
