I only made it through a single interview stage, and the whole vibe was off for me.

The interviewer acted friendly and seemed engaged at first, but their demeanor felt a little guarded.

What really got under my skin was how much attention they paid to my outside interests—what shows I watched and other hobbies—more than the core technical or job-related conversation I expected. It felt like they were quietly judging the choices I made rather than exploring genuine fit.

I didn’t get an offer from that process, and my main takeaway was how much the conversation leaned into personal lifestyle details in a way that didn’t feel fully transparent.
