San Jose, CAPosted Oct 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed at Broadcom San Jose after getting an in-person call to apply online, and the whole process ended up feeling quick—about a day from step to step.

I met with five interviewers one by one, and the day had a consistent purpose: they were looking for both technical capability and communication skills that could translate to helping customers get to production.

The on-site pace was structured and very technical-forward. After a phone round where they asked about my resume and project experience, I went into an on-site with six to eight team members. Each session was about 45 minutes and mostly focused on technical questions.

There was also a clear wrap-up step after the technical conversations: a call from talent acquisition for salary
