My process began with an HR screening, and it quickly became clear that the team valued flexibility and availability more than a tightly defined working model.

During the conversation, the expectations around working hours weren’t clearly spelled out, which made the role feel hard to picture in day-to-day terms.

There also didn’t seem to be a structured on-call rotation or any scheduled coverage model in place. I left the call feeling like I didn’t have enough clarity on what I’d actually be agreeing to.

I didn’t receive an offer, and the main thing I took away was that the lack of operational structure made the hiring conversation feel less concrete than it needed to be.
