The experience was difficult, but I felt like the bar was clear.

The interviewers focused on being precise about the skills I claimed on my resume, especially the parts that matched the job description.

I was also mindful that I shouldn’t oversell or soften anything about my background. They seemed to reward directness and clarity about what I could actually do.

I got an offer. Looking back, the biggest lesson I carried was that they wanted integrity in how I represented my experience, and knowing process knowledge like agile helped me fit the way they evaluated the role.
