I went into a testing-team interview with a fairly large panel.

Six members interviewed me across four rounds, and the process took around 4.5 hours.

During the conversations, the manager was very talkative and brought up working long release hours—expecting that releases might extend 12+ hours. Even though it was information about the job, the overall tone and behavior from the manager and the setting made the experience feel creepy to me.

I ended up rejecting the offer. The biggest thing I remember wasn’t the technical part—it was how uncomfortable the interaction left me, and I wasn’t willing to join a team that felt that off-putting to me.
