I met with two software engineers, and the interview split into quick behavioral and longer technical discussion.

There was a short 15-minute behavioral portion, followed by about 45 minutes of technical questions.

The technical questions covered core CS areas: data structures and algorithms, memory management, and tracing through tree code. The tone felt practical, and the interviewers didn’t seem to be looking for something overly exotic—more like solid fundamentals and the ability to reason.

Overall, nothing felt completely crazy, but it was clear I’d need a general interview guide in my head to keep things organized. I didn’t end up with an offer.
