I experienced an interview loop that started with resume/project discussion and then moved into practical CS fundamentals, usually without feeling overly formal.

Team interview — I talked through my experience and the technical projects I’d done for school.
Resume-driven technical Q&A — Technical questions based on my resume and projects, spanning data structures and algorithms.
Phone screen + panel — A recruiter screen for background, followed by a panel interview that was mostly behavioral; the “technical” portion stayed relatively accessible.
Recruiter + SWE + live coding — A short resume walkthrough with a recruiter, then an experience-focused discussion with a current SWE, ending with a 1-hour live coding
