Booz Allen Hamilton Systems Engineer interview experience

San Diego, CAPosted Dec 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview experience was pretty straightforward and felt low-pressure compared to more intense technical loops.

Because of COVID, everything happened virtually, and the process was a short set of rounds that mixed personality-style screening with a technical component.

I also walked into the process with some clear expectations about logistics and compensation level, and that helped me gauge early whether things were lining up. Overall, the interview felt fair and the people I spoke with were nice, but the main downside was that the framing around remote work and pay level didn’t match reality, which made the whole experience feel like a time waste rather than a smooth process toward an offer.
