My experience for the Bloomberg software engineer role started with an HR interview and then moved into coding.

After that, I went through a longer two-part session: one part was an easy LeetCode interview, and the other was more general technical knowledge around networks.

I was also supposed to have a manager interview, but it never really happened—after sending a couple of emails, I stopped hearing back over a couple of weeks. That uncertainty lingered even as the earlier rounds were progressing.

I didn’t receive an offer. What stuck with me most was how the technical parts felt normal, but the process ended with me getting left hanging on the final manager step.
