My interview path had a clear two-part structure after the early screening.

The first round was a one-hour coding session with follow-up questions that went beyond just the initial solution.

The second round was split into two hours: one more hour of coding, and then a full hour of system design. The coding round focused on topics like intervals and graphs. The system design portion centered on designing a Portfolio Management Service, which made the conversation feel more architectural than purely algorithmic.
