Bloomberg Software Engineer interview experience

Across the interviews I did have to talk through my background and projects, but the real gatekeepers were the coding rounds and the later fit conversations.

For most of the technical parts, I ran into LeetCode-style questions in a DSA-heavy style. Some rounds asked for medium-to-hard coding problems, and others leaned into specific engineering skills like refactoring code and explaining design tradeoffs. I also had at least one interview where they emphasized data structures and algorithms, and I had to keep going even when a problem needed more time than I expected. A couple of sessions
