Bloomberg Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

SeniorPosted Nov 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first Bloomberg round was a straightforward, single focus coding session.

It lasted about an hour, and the main task was a LeetCode-style “Gas Station / Oasis / Car Path” type problem. The whole interview felt like a deep dive into that one algorithmic challenge, and that was basically what determined how the conversation went.

I didn’t move forward after that round and didn’t get an offer. Still, I was glad I had at least one clear reference point for what held me back, because the problem type was specific enough that it helped me understand what to study next time.
