My interview was pretty average in difficulty and felt more like a targeted coding assessment than a full marathon.

I started with discussion about my experience, and I also got some clarity on what the role expected day to day. Then I moved into technical questions.

One question was essentially a variation of the number of islands problem, and I could tell the interviewer cared about how I approached edge cases and how I structured the solution. Another part of my technical experience included building something like a lottery system where the main goal was optimizing time and space complexity across multiple functions.

I didn’t end up receiving an offer, but the overall vibe wasn’t chaotic or unclear.
