Black & Veatch Software Engineer interview experience

Posted Nov 2011 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process started with a one-on-one conversation and then quickly moved into a panel interview.

The jump from an individual discussion to a panel format made it feel more intense and less forgiving—there was nowhere to hide in how I explained myself.

I didn’t make it to an offer. What stayed with me was that the process felt quite difficult overall, and the interview structure seemed designed to pressure-test me from multiple angles rather than keeping it contained to a single conversation.
