Bed Bath & Beyond Account Executive interview experience

I experienced a process that felt off and unnecessarily burdensome compared with typical retail interviews.

Long, unfocused interview — I spent a lengthy time in an interview that didn’t feel purposeful and came across like it was looking for a much more advanced profile than the role required.
Application/invite friction without a real interview — In another instance, I was asked to write more and create an account activity even though I didn’t feel I truly had a proper interview. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway is that when the process becomes time-wasting or inconsistent, it’s harder to feel confident in the outcome.
