I went through a test stage as part of the process, but I wasn’t prepared for the specific subjects they chose.

The test itself felt manageable in the sense that the company was friendly and the experience wasn’t hostile, yet I knew my gap immediately once I saw what they were testing.

I had the impression that if I’d had a bit of time—maybe a week or two of targeted study—I could have passed. Even with that mismatch, the overall tone from them was positive while I was completing the work. I didn’t receive an offer, but I left feeling more like it was a preparation gap on my side than a fundamental problem with how I interviewed.
