My experience started with a vendor-style arrangement and moved into interviews that felt like they were running back-to-back with real in-person presence.

I did an initial online round, then I went on-site at the company’s office for further interviews.

In the in-person session, the questions were technical and included both programming-oriented topics and design-style prompts. I remember that they asked me to address designing elements as part of how I approached the problem, not just to produce code. The whole thing turned into multiple rounds of technical questioning across the two stages.

I wasn’t totally sure how deep they expected me to go until I was in front of them, and it ended up being harder than a typical first technical screen.
