The thing I noticed right away was that the process wasn’t treated like an assessment of technical polish alone—it felt like they wanted to understand who I was.

The tone around it was very character-focused, more interested in my personality and whether I’d be the right fit than in whether I already had experience with their specific tools.

Even the logistics felt intentional. I got a tour, and everywhere I went people seemed upbeat and engaged, like the team genuinely liked where they worked. That atmosphere made the interview feel more human than transactional.

Even so, I didn’t receive an offer, but the experience still left me with a clear impression that HR cared about building a team, not just filling a role.
