My journey started with a video interview using pre-recorded prompts, where I had to record my answers on my own time.

It was definitely a little different than a live conversation, but it didn’t drag—just a set of questions that were meant to quickly screen for fit. After that, I moved into a conversation with a recruiter and then into a hiring manager step.

The hiring manager call was where it felt more serious and role-specific. I remember the tone being focused on what I had done before and what I’d be able to handle in the job, rather than broad, vague questions. The whole thing felt smooth overall: clear stages, friendly interactions, and no impression that they were trying to trick me with the format.
