Balfour Beatty Software Engineer interview experience

The test felt a bit difficult, and once I’d finished I waited to hear back about how I’d done overall. Throughout that time, my experience so far had felt good, even though I was still waiting on the feedback when I last checked in.

What stuck with me most was how unclear the timeline felt after the test—there was no immediate confirmation of performance, just a gap while I waited for them to respond. Even with the difficulty of the assessment, I’d come away feeling reasonably positive, but the lack of updates kept me in limbo for a while.
