Glasgow, ScotlandPosted Jul 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a group interview that centered on a task that was completely unrelated to the field.

We were given something to solve together as a group, and it took a couple of hours of my time to get through it.

After that, I had a direct conversation-style interview with the hiring team where they asked just a couple of questions. The challenge for me wasn’t just the format—it was what happened afterward. I never heard back to confirm I wasn’t successful, which felt poor after I’d already invested so much time.

I didn’t receive an offer. What stuck with me most was the combination of the unrelated group task and then the silence afterward—it made the whole experience feel disrespectful
