Balfour Beatty Software Engineer interview experience

By the time I reached the point where I’d actually started, the group I’d interviewed with ended up essentially gone, which was genuinely disappointing.

It made me immediately question the decision, because the experience I’d invested in no longer matched what I was stepping into. The difficulty level itself didn’t stand out as the main issue—the bigger problem was how the situation seemed to change after the interviews, leaving a sour feeling about the process.
