I had two online interviews that felt personal and then more technical.

The first part was a series of recorded or on-demand style video questions that focused on getting to know me. The second interview was live and involved a panel, mixing personal questions with a smaller set of technical prompts.

The main difference between the stages was the emphasis: the early one was about personality and motivation, while the later one shifted the dial toward technical understanding. It didn’t feel hostile, just structured. I didn’t end up getting an offer.
