My process followed a clear three-stage structure.

First I had an internal recruiter interview, then I completed a homework-style assignment on a third-party testing website. After that, I went into two interviews with engineering leadership—a principal and a team leader.

It felt more formal than casual, with the assignment taking a real role in how the process progressed. I didn’t receive an offer, and the overall experience left me feeling like the bar was high and the expectations were set early through the homework step.
