I went through a full set of rounds—an online test, two technical rounds, and an HR round—and the process ran right up to the point where they told me the role was on hold.

That was the surprise: instead of getting a decision, I was told they’d contact me later when they started hiring.

It was disappointing in practice because I had already invested the time across multiple steps and had no real closure. Even though the interview sequence itself included the expected mix of testing and conversations, the end result left me feeling like I’d waited for something that wasn’t moving.

In the end I didn’t receive an offer. The biggest reflection I took from it was how quickly momentum can disappear even after you complete the rounds.
