At the start I talked about my college experience and curriculum because I hadn’t had work experience yet.

The job details weren’t as clear as I expected, and the role I thought I was interviewing for didn’t fully match what they ended up describing—what was labeled as C++ ended up being framed closer to C work with a plan to involve C++ later. Even after the interview, the feedback process was the worst part: I asked for more detail and they reached out by email for feedback from others who were present, but I never received anything back. That left me feeling like the process wasn’t handled with enough care.
